Barbara Jean Schneider

Barbara Jean (Agin) Schneider of Bon Air, Virginia went to be with the Lord July 30, 2020, a day before her 88th birthday. Barb was a devoted wife and mother, and a loving grandmother. Born and raised in Ada, Ohio, she attended Ohio Northern University where she met Jerry Schneider, the love of her life. They married in 1958 and had 3 children. Barb was an avid crafter who loved reading and playing games. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Gerald Frederick Schneider, and is survived by Greg Schneider (Linda), Susan-Marie Shelton (Mike), and Mark Schneider (Lydia). She leaves behind her grandchildren, Justin Shelton (Collyn), Alyssa Schneider, and Jacob Schneider. Services will be held August 5th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at the Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery in Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia Court House, Virginia 23002. Face masks are required. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the food bank of your choice.
