Benjamin Healea Lewis. 88 of Bon Air passed away peacefully on August 23, 2014. He was born to the late Orrin and Velma Lewis on July 21, 1926 in Arkansas. Ben served in the US Navy during World War II, before his retirement he worked 30 years at Automatic Equipment Sales of Virginia. Ben is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Jennie Septer Lewis; three children Jennie L. Dove, Dr. Kathryn L. Catina, and Lt. Colonel (retired) Blane Benjamin Lewis; five grandchildren and one great grandson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm for a visitation at the Woody Funeral Home, Huguenot Chapel; 1020 Huguenot Rd. Midlothian, Va. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bon Air United Methodist Church, 1645 Buford Road, Bon Air, Va. 23235 or to the charity of your choice.
