LUCY, Bradford Eugene "Gene" Sr., 78, of Richmond, died at home peacefully on April 30, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Edwards Lucy; and his daughter, Sandra Eugene Lucy. He is survived by two sons, Bradford Eugene Lucy Jr. and John Atwell Lucy and his wife, Virginia; as well as his sister, Nan Grissom and her husband, Edward; and many loving friends. Born in Lawrenceville, Va., Gene retired professionally from Oscar Mayer/Kraft Foods, proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a devoted member of Bon Air Baptist Church.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bon Air Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 2531 Buford Rd., Richmond, Va. 23235.
