Catherine Aylor Barksdale Miller

MILLER, Catherine Aylor Barksdale, age 36, wife of Rudolph "Rudy" Andrew Miller III, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014. She was a loving mother, a caring person, and a friend to many, and she will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Catherine was the mother of William Keegan and Corey Hayden Miller. She was the daughter of Jo Aylor Barksdale and the late William Rainey Barksdale, the sister of William R. Barksdale and his wife, Jennifer, and the aunt of Alice Aylor Barksdale. She was the daughter-in-law of Sandra B. Miller, sister-in-law of Michael Woods, Ronnie D. Miller, Bobby G. Woods and wife, Michelle, Angel Miller, and aunt of Casey, Tyler, Cole, and Tru Woods. Catherine was a registered nurse, employed by Paradise Home Care at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Bon Air Presbyterian Church, 9201 W. Huguenot Rd., N. Chesterfield, Va. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014, at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., Midlothian, Va. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Commonwealth Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Program, c/o Lisa Gibson, 1512 Willow Lawn Dr., Richmond, Va. 23230 or a beneficiary fund being established for her children, c/o William Barksdale at P.O.
