POWERS, Clement L., 102, of Richmond, widower of Elizabeth P. Powers, went to be with the Lord and join his wife in heaven, September 13, 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Janet E. Hoff and her husband, Karl; son, William S. Powers; five grandchildren, Beth, Jennifer, Suzanne, Karl and Shannon; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Powers was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He worked for the Singer Corporation for 29 years, before becoming a real estate broker, retiring after 20 years of service. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 18, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, and where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. A private burial service will be held in Quantico National Cemetery.
