David Seth Spivey

David “ Seth” Spivey, 50, passed away at home Tuesday, August 27 2019. He is survived by his mother Beverley Q. Spivey. Seth was preceded in death by his father, Fred D. Spivey, and his grandparents. Seth was a graduate of Monacan High School class of 1986 and worked as a pest control technician. He was a kind and generous man, a lover of bluegrass and country music and all animals, especially dogs. He loved to play his guitar and entertain singing and playing. Seth was also an avid nascar fan, rooting for anyone driving a Ford! He was fun-loving but in many ways a very private person. He knew the Lord Jesus and through his many struggles in life knew where his help came from. He is now safe in the arms of Jesus and with his much loved Dad but he will be so very missed by many who knew him well. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, September 6, 2019 at West End Assembly of God 401 N. Parham Road with visitation from 9 am to 10:45 am Interment at 2 pm at Sunset Memorial Park 2901 W.
