She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gene Sullivan, her son, Brian Sullivan and his wife Tina, of Chesterfield, and her sister, Violet Thoma, of Woodland Hills, Ca.
She grew up in Illinois and attended Mundelein College in Chicago. In the 50's she relocated to Alexandria, Va. and worked in the D.C. area until her marriage in 1970, eventually settling in Richmond in 1974.
She was a caring and open soul and will be missed by her life long friends; Skip Glotzbach, Nancy Callahan, Chris Angle, Joan Conroy, Carol Murphy, Marilyn McCall, as well as her large extended family of nephews and nieces. She was an artist who loved painting watercolors and will be missed by her art group friends Joyce Capel and Polly Janowiec.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5pm, Sunday, March 24, at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. Services private. Contributions may be made the The Neuropathy Association.
