She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Stuhmer. She is survived by her husband, Robert Stuhmer; her son, Donald Stuhmer; her daughter, Robin Hottinger; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Doris was born in Hoboken, NJ and lived her life in New York. She married Robert when she was 17 and they spent 70 years together. She worked at Avon Products, then moved to Jomar products as a machine operator. In 1995, she and Robert moved to Virginia, and she lived in Chesterfield until her passing. In her free time, Doris enjoyed ceramics, macrame, painting and puzzles. Most of all, she loved being a GiGi to her grandchildren. She was a gentle, loving person who was loved by many people who came to know her as "Doe". She will be missed by all.
