Beth spent her childhood in Austin, Pennsylvania and then moved to Buffalo, New York, where she completed her nursing degree and met her husband, Philip. After moving to Virginia, Beth was involved with the Newport News/Hampton medical auxiliaries, a board member of the Peninsula SPCA, Friends of the Charles H. Taylor Library, Kiln Creek Garden Association, and her beloved Needles group.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Philip F. Murray. She is survived by her children, Pamela Davis (Mike), of Midlothian, Virginia and Patricia Colonna (David) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, four grandchildren, Todd Davis, Ross Davis, Elizabeth Sloan, Ann Coon, and a great grandson, Bramwell Coon.
Beth was devoted to her family and friends and was greatly loved in return.
