She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Parham, Jr.; her parents, Thomas and Emily Somner; and her sisters, Doris Young, Rachel Woodcock and Lillie Tench.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Swift (Bill), Emily Oden (Steve) and Beth White (Rickey); grandchildren, Michael Oden, Stephanie Swift, Allyson Oden (Justin Hamilton), Sarah Beth Couvillion (Brian), Kathleen Swift-Papas (Chris) and Billy Swift.
She was a graduate of Petersburg High School and a licensed practical nurse. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
