

HUTTON, Grace Bunker, 86, passed away at home on April 16, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bunker and Gladys D. Bunker, and her brother, Joseph Bunker, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert L. Hutton, her daughters, Martha Carrellas (Stephen) and Cynthia Wenger (Stephen), her grandchildren, Kathryn Wenger and Daniel Wenger, her sister, Martha Cianfrone (Frank) and her beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
A graduate of George Washington University, where she received a scholarship to study chemistry and served as president of her sorority, Delta Zeta, Grace was honored in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities in 1949-1950. She worked as a research chemist for DuPont at the Spruance plant and volunteered for the Girls Scouts of the USA. She was active in modern dance and had a strong love of books, classical music, and the ballet. Grace was a founding member of the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Warren, NJ, a former member of the Salisbury Country Club and Women’s Club, and an active member of the Midlothian Women’s Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Grace was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and graciousness.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Woody’s Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Salisbury Presbyterian Church, 13621 W. Salisbury Road, Midlothian. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Salisbury Presbyterian Church.
