Jerry Milan Priest

Jerry was born on November 12, 1939 to John Julian & Dorothy Rosemire Priest in Columbus, OH. After high school, Jerry studied Business at Pasadena Nazarene College, first working at Texaco then opening a local franchise of Stanley Steemer.

In 1965, Jerry met the love of his life, Carol. They married in 1966 and had three children, Kari, Jason, and Dean.

In 2016, Jerry retired and spent time traveling with Carol, enjoying the wonderful meals she prepared him, and making lasting memories with family and church friends. Through teaching Sunday school, his work with the Gideons, and a lifelong focus on missions, Jerry took advantage of every opportunity to let people know about his best friend, Jesus.

Jerry was preceded in death by parents John & Dorothy, and brother Kirt. He is survived by wife, Carol, brother Tom, twin brother, Jay, and sister, Dotty. He is also survived by his three children, daughter, Kari (Brad) Badgerow, and sons Jason (Melinda), and Dean (Kristen); grandchildren Andy (Meg), Zach & Katie Badgerow, and Tyler, Cade, Sydney & Joseph Priest; and great-granddaughter Holly Badgerow.

Visitation will take place at Woody’s Funeral Home on Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA on Tuesday evening, April 11 from 6 - 8 pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Southside Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, April 12 at 1 pm, followed by an internment at Dale Memorial Park.
