DAVIS, John W., Jr., 80, of Danville, died July 12, 2012. Survivors include three sons, Lawrence M. Davis (Emily), Charles E. Davis (Susan), and Vincent M. Davis (Andrea); one sister, LIllie Fallen; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Shirley McRae-Davis. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home. Interment will be 1 p.m. at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
