Judith Marshall Dyer

Judith Marshall Dyer, was called home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. Marshall, and Mary Frances Marshall, and sisters, Beverly McCann and Evelyn Turner. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, George Edwin Dyer, children, Sara Matthews (Brent), Matt Dyer, and Mary Beth Norman (Brad), nine grandchildren (Noah Matthews, Colin Kennedy, Ashley Dyer, Mackenzie Etka (Eli), Samuel Matthews, Finnian Kennedy, Hannah Matthews, Kylie Dyer, Grayson Norman) and one great grandchild (Ayla Etka). She is also survived by her sister, Cynthia Davis (Topper).

A lifelong resident of Chesterfield County, Judy loved spending time with her family and vacations on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She lived a life deeply grounded in family traditions. From holiday gatherings filled with laughter and family recipes to stories shared around the table, Judy believed that family was the heart of everything. These traditions were not only practiced, but lovingly passed down, creating memories that will continue for generations. A celebration of life will be held on January 23, 2026 at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel, visitation at 9:30, service at 10:30. Family interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
