Karen Shuman Goode

Karen was a dedicated accountant at PMC Commercial Interiors, where she took pride in her work and was well loved by her colleagues. Outside of her career, Karen found her greatest joy in her family – especially her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She cherished lunches spent laughing with friends and loved going on adventures, always eager to explore life’s moments, big and small. Karen had a rare gift of bringing light wherever she went, uplifting those around her with her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit.

Karen was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Mary Omohundro and her Mother, Mary Shuman.

She is survived by her father, Carter Shuman, her daughter, Kaitlyn Goode Burt and son-in-law, JJ Burt, her grandchildren, Jackson Burt and Chase Burt, her brother, Randy Shuman and her sister-in-law, Debbie Shuman.

The family will receive friends on February 4th from 10am to 11am followed by a service from 11am - 12pm. Both will be held at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian, Va 23113.

Karen’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
