Laura Lyon Kiser, 57, of Midlothian, died Saturday, August 7, 2010. She was preceded in death by her fathers, Brock R. Lyon, Jr. and Billy Webb, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Gary E. Kiser; 4 children, Arden W. Searles, III, Kari Hunt and Chris and Kyle Kiser; 4 grandchildren; her mother, Iryma Bennett Webb; 2 brothers, Brock R. Lyon, III (Kitty) and Bill Webb (Jan); a sister, Ann Rambusch (Harold); also several aunts and uncles and numerous special nieces and nephews, among them Reynolds and Mary Katherine Lyon.
Laura was a graduate of Page High School in Greensboro, NC and attended Stratford College in Danville, VA; she was a stylist for C & C Hair Company.
A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bon Air Baptist Church on Buford Road with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences at woodyfuneralhomehuguenot.com
