He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mindy Shaffer; daughter, Jackie Shaffer; son, Matt Shaffer, and his wife Shelli; grandchildren, Kiley Shaffer and Matthew Shaffer, Jr.; father, Dr. Lee W. Shaffer, Jr; brothers, John Shaffer, and his wife Zelda and their daughter, Sara, and Bill Shaffer; he is also survived by his brother in law and sister in law, Elliott and Dana Corn and many loving friends.
Services will be held on today, Saturday, August 31, at 4pm, at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian, with visitation two hours prior to the service, from 2 to 4pm.
