Leslie Eugene Wall

Leslie Eugene Wall, 78, of Richmond Virginia passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 11, 2025. Leslie was preceded in death by his mother Glessie Wall, his grandparents, Graham and Sallie Wall and his sister Phyllis E. Ratliff.

Leslie served in the United States Army for four years, 1968 to 1971, during the Vietnam War era. Leslie was a decorated soldier who served his country heroically. He retired as a sergeant. He also served in the Army Reserves for eighteen years.

After retiring from the military, Leslie gained employment with Philip Morris. He worked there for many years until he decided to retire. After several years in retirement, Leslie decided to enter back into the work force. Therefore, gaining employment with the United States Postal Service where he retired again after 30 years. Leslie's humble beginnings fostered a strong work ethic and respectful demeanor, positively impacting those around him.

He leaves to cherish his memory nephews, James P. “Jimmy” Wall and Aaron Hinnant, Jr. (Rose); his great-niece, Shayna D. Parker; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Leslie may be gone, but he will remain in our hearts forever.
