Lucille Simmons Moore

MOORE, Lucille “Lucy” Simmons, longtime resident Glen Burnie, Maryland, died on January 21, 2014, in hospice care at Brandermill Woods in Midlothian, Virginia. Born on March 23,1926 in Bartow, West Virginia to William and Nellie Simmons, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Thomas Mann Moore; and siblings, Jesse Simmons ,Hunter Simmons, Richard Simmons, Paul Simmons, Forrest Simmons, Clarence Simmons, Moses Simmons, and Marge Wheeler. Lucille is survived by her devoted daughter, Rebecca Moore Hudson and son-in-law, W. Thomas Hudson; and beloved grandchildren, Virginia Moore Hudson , Charles Thomas Hudson and his wife, Kimberly Gary Hudson; and great-grandchildren, Peyton Grace Hudson and Charles Thomas Hudson, Jr. She will be laid to rest on Memorial Day with her husband, Tom, in the family cemetery in Edray, West Virginia. The family wishes to thank the loving care of the staff of Brandermill Woods and the Bon Secours Grace Hospice Team.
