Marian Hooper Baker

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarice Parker Stith Hooper and George Fraser Hooper, her husband, Bernard Clinton Baker, brothers, George Jr., Parker and Robert Hooper; and great grandson, Jesse Blackwelder.

She leaves behind her daughters; Bonnie Roach (Roger), Donna Wilkerson (Larry), and Beverly Baker; grandchildren, Clint Roach (Cari), Todd Roach (Crystal), Justin Reed (Melanie), Ainsley Spencer (Christian), Patty Roach, Ben Wilkerson (Kathy); great-grandchildren, Austin (Brittany) and Isaac Roach, Amber Cook, Crysta, T.C., Nicholas and Alayna Roach, Penny, Craig and Aiden Naylor, Olivia, Jamieson and Clarice Reed, VedaAnne Boos, Wyatt and Piper Spencer, Jason Bryant, Ian Wilkerson, and Ryan Hylton (Jordyn), Great-great-grandchildren; Austin Lewis, Lane Cook, Bryan Tinsley, Adalynn, Mackenzie and Myla Mosay and Blakely and Bryson Hylton; as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Arden Courts Memory Community who loved and cared for Marian during the last 3 months.

The family will receive friends from 12-1pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Woody Funeral Home-Huguenot Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1pm. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Riverway Community Church or God’s Storehouse Baptist Church.
