

HEPHNER Marjorie Brown, 79, of Midlothian, passed away July 16, 2015. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence and Alda Brown. She leaves her husband of 55 years, Thomas A. Hephner; daughter, Patti; and son-in-law, Robbie Perdue; and grandson, Brandon; son, Robert; and daughter-in-law, Lisa; son, Richard; and daughter-in-law, Michele; and grandchildren: Jackson, Madison and Avery; brother, Paul Brown; and sister, Barbara Unger. She was a graduate registered nurse from St. Luke's Hospital and School of Nursing, Cleveland, Ohio. She retired from Medical College of Virginia after 24 years as a Rehabilitation Nurse. After retiring in 2001, she volunteered for the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and Doorways (MCV Hospitality House). She was a member of the Bon Air Presbyterian Church, the Midlothian Women's Club, the Doorways Quilters and the OSU Alumni Club, Richmond Chapter. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and loved to spend time enjoying her grandchildren and gardening. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Bon Air Presbyterian Church, with a reception following. Interment will be scheduled at a later date in Lisbon, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations are being requested to Doorways, 612 E. Marshall St., Richmond, Va. 23219.
