Nate was a native Rhode Islander and spent his first 20 years of life living in New England. Nate and his wife, Diane, met working for Marriott and spent the next few years moving with the company all over the United States, Texas, Arizona and California. Their son, Justin, was born in California, and they decided to move back to the East Coast.
They moved to Virginia in 2001 and he went to work in 2002 as a Police Officer for the Arlington Police Department. Later, he moved to Chesterfield County and worked for the Chesterfield Police Department and finished his law enforcement career as a Sheriff's Deputy in Dinwiddie County, where he retired. Nate had a love for helping people and driving fast.
He loved anything with wheels and could often be found working on his cars or riding his motorcycle. More than anything, Nathan had a love for his family, especially his son, Justin. Nate loved watching Justin play soccer and going to the movies with Justin and Diane.
Nathan is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Diane; his son, Justin; parents, Jonathan and Nora; siblings, Joshua (Susan), Sarah (Erik), Jose (Doris) and Liz (Elyse); father-in-law, Jack (Barbara); mother-in-law, Ann (David); sister-in-law, Katherine Armstrong Barone; and nieces and nephews, Nina, Anna, Gretchen, Finn, Piper, Damion, Anthony, Thalia, and Lorenzo. He was preceded in death by his son, Taylor.
Interment will be private.
