KENNEY, Noah Lee, Sr. (aka POP), 73, of Midlothian, Va, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Linden, Virginia to the late Noah and Ether Kenney. Lee was preceded in death by brothers Tommy, Wilbur, Paul, Carol, Earl, Reginald and sisters Mary, Nancy and Caroline.
Pop enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and grandsons, spending time with his family and working in his yard. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Kenney, one son, Noah Lee Kenney, Jr. daughter in law, Michele Kenney, two grandsons, Justin (Brittney) and Matthew (Kelly). He is also survived by two great grandsons (Jacob and Bryson) and another great grandson due in April. Other surviving family members include one brother, Johnny and one sister, Alice.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Johnston Willis Hospital for the exceptional care our “POP” received while he was a patient.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, February 6th, at Woody Funeral Home, Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA. Burial will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
