Robert F. Stephen Gorey passed away September 28, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Andrew J. Gorey; brothers, Andrew J. and Kevin T. (Diane) and sister, Brenda Garvin (Joseph).
He is survived by his wife, Lillian, children, Robert S. (Bonnie), Christopher M. (Suzy), and daughter Janice; sister, Marcia Paiva; grandchildren, Grace, Evelyn, Owen, Robbie, and Sam Gorey.
He retired as CW4, U.S. Army and Department of Defense Investigative Service. He was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Msgr. John J. McMahon, 4th Degree K of C; Korean War Veterans Greater Richmond Chapter; Army Counterintelligence Corps Veterans, Inc., and other military-related associations.
A funeral Mass will be Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church.
