Rona Gail King

KING, Rona Gail, 62, of North Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 20, 2015 at Westport Rehabilitation Facility in Richmond, Va. She was born October 11, 1952 in Quakertown, Pa., to the late Elmer R. King and Myrtle Ruth McBride King. Rona is survived by her daughter, Catherine King; and son, Ronald King (Anha), both of Richmond; three grandchildren; and her brother, John McKain, also of Richmond, Va. Rona moved to Richmond as a young child and raised her family here. After completing college, Rona worked as a data analyst for Capital One for many years. She will be remembered for her faith, her devotion to her family and friends, and her fun-loving spirit. She was an inspiration to many and her absence will be felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A private service will take place at Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229.
