

Born on January 28th, 1941, in Greensboro, NC, Sandy was the beloved daughter of Ray and Margaret Sharpe. She lived a life filled with warmth, creativity, and devotion to her family and friends (both human and furry).
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Sandy found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and caring for her beloved dogs. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Neecie Bullock, with whom she shared a life full of love, laughter, and devotion. Sandy and Neecie provided am amazing example on how to unconditionally love your partner in life. Their home was always warm, inviting, and welcoming.
Sandy thrived as a talented and hardworking student. While working full time, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Mary Baldwin University. Sandy also enjoyed a unique and interesting career path. She worked as a Paralegal for multiple law firms in Richmond, VA, as a member of the Southern Virginia Child Advocacy Center and as a School Teacher in Rocky Mount, VA, and fiercely advocated for disadvantaged children as a member of CASA. Her kind spirit and nurturing heart were evident in everything she did.
She is survived by her son, Mac Bullock, Daughters in-Law, Laura Bullock and Lisa Bullock, Grandchildren, Cory Bullock, Sydney Bullock, Paige Bullock, Connor Bullock and Mackenzie Bullock, and her Great Grandson, Ben Bullock. Sandy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Neecie Bullock, her oldest son, Chip Bullock, her father, Ray Sharpe, and her mother, Margaret Sharpe.
A memorial service to celebrate Sandy’s life will be held on Monday, September 29th, at 11 AM, at Salisbury Presbyterian Church, located at 13621 W Salisbury Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113 .
A reception will follow from 1-3 PM at Candela’s Pizzeria & Ristorante (one of Sandy’s favorite restaurants), located at 14235 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian, VA 23113.
Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories, love, and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Richmond SPCA in honor of Sandy’s memory.
