Sharon Kay Sauer was born June 25th, 1945 and died on February 26th, 2020. Shar resided in North Chesterfield, Virginia. She married Ron Sauer in 1968 and they resided in Loma Linda, CA. The family moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1978 and she was most passionate about her nursing career, her patients and her students, who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Louise Iles and her sister Joy. She is survived by her sisters, Martha Worcester and Mary Jane Hershey, her brother John Iles, her husband Ron of 52 years and her three daughters, Heidi Keating, Christina Sauer and Brenda Sauer. She will be laid to rest on March 5th at Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery at Amelia. A celebration of life will be held in June in Richmond and the family will welcome friends then.
