Thomas Randolph Curry Jr.

He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas R. Curry, Sr. and Alice Mann Curry.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather Lee Curry; sister, Regina Singleton (Bryan); two nieces, Taylor and Brianna Singleton; his beloved dog, Loki; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Randy grew up in Chesterfield County where he played football and graduated from Monacan High School.

Randy spent many great weekends at the Amelia Go Kart Track where he raced against family and friends and he also loved helping friends at Southside Speedway. Randy moved to Amelia County in his early 20s. He loved working, hunting and fishing on the farm every day.

He worked many years at the VA State Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator and at CCPS as a maintenance worker, but his true love was working on the farm cutting hay, grass, driving the tractor and feeding the animals. He never met a stranger and always knew someone wherever he would go. Randy was a fierce protector of his family and friends and would do anything in the world to help anyone.

He was one of a kind and will be missed by many.

A visitation will be held at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel, on December 15, 2023 from 6pm-8pm.
