

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Richmond and Betty Girard. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Linda Richmond, his son David Richmond (wife Mandy), his daughter Angela Richmond, his granddaughters Ellen Harrison (husband Roderick), Virginia Richmond, Savannah Richmond, and Charlotte Richmond, as well as one great-granddaughter, Nylah Harrison.
Tiny grew up everywhere, including Hinton, West Virginia, San Francisco, California, Lincoln, Illinois, Durango, Colorado and Omaha, Nebraska, where he met and married the love of his life, Linda. After serving in the Air Force, they eventually settled in Central Virginia where he worked as a mechanic to raise a family and give them a place that they could call home.
Tiny loved reading, cooking, and spending time with his granddaughters. He was also very involved with his church family at Velocity Christian Church, where he was a charter member, and taught Sunday School for many years. He also served as an ordained minister, occasionally officiating weddings and funerals for friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, August 16th, 2024 at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, and a service will be held Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at 11am at Velocity Christian Church.

The family would like to thank family, friends, coworkers, and the staff of Bon Secours Hospice for all of the support and care they have offered over the past few months; The Bottrell family for being so generous with food, time and love; and our spiritual families at Velocity Christian Church and Cool Spring Christian Church for their support.
