

Ursula A. Grimm, 77, of Prince George, Virginia, died peacefully on April 25, 2017, at Bon Secours Community Hospice House in Richmond, following an extended illness. Born December 13, 1939, in Wertheim, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Hermann Josef Arnold and Lisa Maria Maag Arnold. In 1959, she emigrated to the United States, and lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Tennessee, and for nearly 45 years in Virginia
Ursula was an opera enthusiast and a gourmet hobbyist who enjoyed entertaining, cooking for others and sharing her German heritage. She and her husband, Wolfgang H. Grimm, founded the Wertheim Reunion bringing together nearly 100 people in the USA with ties to her hometown. She enjoyed volunteering and was active in many civic and fraternal organizations in Richmond and Hopewell, including the Deutscher Sports Club, the Historic Hopewell Foundation and the Hopewell Twinning Association.
In addition to her husband of 35 years, she is survived by a son, Charles H. Pannunzio (Christina) of Torrance, California; a daughter, Lisa M. Gaylor and grandchildren Danielle, Ronnie and Stephen, of Midlothian; and a sister, Christel Kirchner (Geunter), of Wertheim, Germany.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Bon Secours Community Hospice House, 1133 Old Bon Air Road, Richmond, VA 23235.
