Violet Lillian Mastin Moran

MORAN, Violet L. Mastin (Nana), 80 of Midlothian, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 63 years, Paul D. Moran Sr., her children, Cheri Harvey, Dennis Moran and wife Barbara, Cindy Lessin and husband Alan, Holli Watson and husband David, Tom Moran and wife Miriam; grandchildren, Lynn Jarrelle and husband Norman, Josh Moran and wife Amanda, Myles Moran, Allison Moran Meghan Traylor and husband Steven, Erin Mahone and husband Keith, Jeff lessin, Alex and Adam Watson, Eve and Spencer Moran; great-grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Jarrelle, Bryson Moran, Ellie Traylor, Laney, Liam and Declan Mahone. Violet was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Paul Smith. She is also survived by many special brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Violet worked alongside her husband for 37 years in their family business, Moran Hearing Aid Center.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 27 at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2011. Burial will follow at Powhatan Community Cemetery, Powhatan, Va. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
