

Billy was a lifelong resident of Chesterfield County. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Pauline and Julius Bokkon, and sister, Linda Bokkon Corrada. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Faye Southall Bokkon, daughter Alison Bokkon Broaddus (Henry), two grandchildren (Bailey and Walter), sister (Brenda Bokkon Renfrow), sisters- and brother-in-law (Ann Southall Allen, Sue Southall Jenkins, and Bill Jenkins), and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Billy proudly served four years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, including a tour in Thailand. He spent 38 years of his professional career at New York Life Insurance Company. Billy was a charter member of BAFFL. He was profoundly loyal and passionate when it came to those things he cared most about, in particular his family, the University of Virginia, and the Village of Midlothian.
The family will receive visitors from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, at Woody Funeral Home, Huguenot Road. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 21, at 11 a.m., at the same location, followed by a reception. Interment to be held at Dale Memorial Park, Tuesday, January 25, 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Billy’s honor to Wounded Warrior Project or the American
Cancer Society.
