He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Dixon Trivett; and sister, Amy Jane Trivett.
He is survived by his father, William Emmett Trivett Jr.; brother, Clint Warren Trivett; sisters, Clara Hope Trivett and Heather Jo Trivett; nieces, Ashley, Brooke, Lindsey, and Kaitlyn Trivett; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
William enjoyed the outdoors, particularly the trails and ponds on the family property in Powhatan and at Pony Pasture by the river. He enjoyed singing and playing basketball. He was very focused, great with computers and electronics and generous with his talents. He was kind hearted and never found a child or animal he didn't try to help or care for. He was a wonderful brother and beloved son.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, August 25, at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baptist Foreign Mission Board.
