

WOOLARD, William Boyd Sr., of Bon Air, known to his friends as Bill, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2010 at age 77. Survived by devoted wife of 57 years, Ann Harlow Woolard; four children, Boyd (Theresa), David, Diane, and Allen (Joy); five grandchildren, Jason, Shannon, Kristen, Hannah, Paul, and new great grandchild, Allie; brother, Fred (Dorothy); niece, Linda; and nephew, Gordon.
Bill and Ann graduated from John Marshall High School, class of 1951. He attended Smithdeal Massey Business College and pursued his business career at Republic Lumber & Building Supply Co., at Napier and Savage Real Estate firm, as a residential General Contractor, and at the State Health Department from which he retired. Bill and Ann are longtime members of Bon Air United Methodist Church. He loved sailing, golfing, and they both enjoyed square dancing for over 20 years.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 7, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. Interment will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd., Chesterfield, Va., with a memorial service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Bon Air United Methodist Church, 1645 Buford Rd.
