

Anne Madeline Ware was born December 11,1921 to William Henry Boyd and Ethel Bessie McIntyre Boyd in Carter, Oklahoma. She Graduated Valedictorian, Magnum High School, later earned her Bachelors of Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She also attended the University of Central Oklahoma and University of Oklahoma earning her Masters in Child Psychology. During college she earned honors of distinction from Phi Alpha Kappa. Madeline fell in love with John Calvin Dennis and had two children, Cynthia and Mark. She loved teaching, and did so for 20 years, another 17 as visiting district counselor, and in Administration. She retired after 37 years in the Mid-Del School District and moved to LaHabra, California. She loved traveling, and visited Europe, Egypt, and the Holy Lands-Wall of Prayer-which was her favorite. After many years, Madeline returned to Oklahoma to be closer to family. She is survived by son Mark Dennis, Grand daughter Lisa Goodman, husband Johnny, grand daughter Amy Hamby, husband Derald, and grandson Greg Goodwin, as well as great-grandchildren, Lindsay Vail, Kaylee King, Hunter Goodwin as well as many nieces and nephews who called her ‘Aunt Madge’. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lois Ada Yates, brothers; Robert Eugene Boyd and William Harold Boyd, both husbands, and daughter Cindy Adams. Madeline was devoted to her faith, family, and friends and she taught them that, “Kindness is always appropriate.”
