

He is survived by his wife, Elvina Peak, his daughters Adrienne and Ashley,
His mother and stepfather, Mr and Mrs. Ted Hinkle, his sister, Linda Burns,
stepmother Patricia Peak and step siblings Jason Nelson and Stephanie Cordova
and his lifetime friend, Lane Horton, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bob attended Northwest Classen High School and the University of Oklahoma
where he graduated with a degree in criminal justice in 1982. He was a member
of Phi Sigma Phi and honorary fraternities Delta Epsilon Iota and Phi Kappa Sigma.
He obtained his masters degree in criminal Justice from the University of Central
Missouri in 2013.
Bob had a varied career as a stockbroker for A.G. Edwards, and as a trader on the New
Stock Exchange in New York City . He was also employed by Raucher –Pierce, a
Brokerage firm in Dallas before returning to Oklahoma City permanently. He worked
As an internal affairs investigator for the department of corrections before he went to
ITT as a professor in the criminal justice department. It was there that he discovered his
love of teaching. Many of his former students have stayed in contact with him
throughout his long illness.
Bob was noted for his ready wit and sense of humor that made him a delightful
companion. He was a caring and compassionate man, a beloved husband, father,
son, brother and friend.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the Paylor Family Funeral Care Chapel in Midwest City.
In lieu of flowers a contribution may be sent to the O. U. Children’s Hospital as a memorial to Robert Peak.
