Ben was born October 25, 1923 to Albert and Ruth Christensen Shaw. He passed away on September 20, 2014 in Salt Lake City. Ben met and married Elvera Mary Dell on October 27, 1950. He was a retired firefighter for Salt Lake County. He is preceded in death by his wife Elvera, his parents and siblings Beth, Wayne, Robert, Roger and Perry. Survived by his children David (Carol), Scott (Kevin), Lorraine (Richard)Bodkin. 4 grandchildren, siblings Geneal, RuthAnn and Glen. There will be a graveside service to be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (3401 Highland Drive) at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 4 with a visitation at 10:00am.
