It is difficult to describe the courage and openness with which Bonnie accepted her pending death, she did it her way on her terms. This was a lesson in dying peacefully and boldly with all four daughters by her side.
Bonnie was born January 20, 1935 to Walter and Wanda Griffin. She married the love of her life, Warren W Lyngle on February 18, 1956. They worked side by side in all business and personal ventures.
Bonnie shared over 50 years of friendship with her bridge group and the women of the Mtn Dell Ladies Golf Association where she was a lifetime member.
Bonnie leaves behind her daughters, Teresa (Greg) Mendiola, Sue (Greg) Finch, Amy (Mike) Griffin, and Jenny Lyngle, 11 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her dearest brother Walter (Linda) Griffin, sister in laws Peggy Dean, Sondra Lyngle and Linda (Terry) Crozier, in addition to many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly. Oh, and Yoshi.
A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held Saturday, April 11th at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive Salt Lake City at 2:00 p.m., visitation one hour prior, and continue afterwards at the home Bonnie Lyngle.
We would like to thank the staff at St. Mark’s Hospital for their loving care.
