Charles Williams

Charles graduated from Milford High School. He served in the U.S. Army in the late 1960’s as a Nike Hercules Launcher Crewman at Battery B in the Pittsburg Air Defense Group and later served as a member of a U.S. Army Exhibit Team based in Pennsylvania.

Charles graduated from Southern Utah University and received a Masters Degree in economics from Utah State University in 1972.

He met his future wife, Dorothy Welch, at USU and they married on February 26, 1983 in Salt Lake City. Charles worked for Salt Lake City Corp and Salt Lake Community College as Veterans Coordinator before getting into the mortgage business. He worked as a mortgage loan officer and broker for more than 30 years ultimately owning his own company MSC Mortgage. He highly enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and shooting.

Charles is survived by his wife Dorothy, his brother Roger Williams (Kay), sister Wendy Williams; nephew Austin Messer (Billie) and nieces Tawnie Williams and Jennifer Graham as well as their children. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service from 9:00-9:45 am. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
