Dick Sherman Healey

Dick Sherman Healey, 75, of Midvale, UT died peacefully with loved ones surrounding him October 5, 2014. He was born April 27, 1939 in Bingham, UT to Margretta Ann and Richard Winn. Dick was married to Christina Anderson August 10, 1982. He was undeniably one of the hardest working men around. A loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved playing with grand kids, reading, watching BYU football, listening to Johnny Cash and playing with his best friend, his dog, Bucky. He served in the US Army from 1962-1964. Dick, thoroughly enjoyed his 35 year long career with Chevron Oil. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his Dr. Florentino Abueg, and M.A Patience from St. Marks Senior Center, as well as nurse Beverley from One Care Hospice.

Dick is survived by his wife Christina Healey, daughter Stacey Miller, and siblings David Healey and Kay Howell. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Margretta and Richard Winn, as well as siblings Elaine, Richard Reece, Shirley, Veloy, Bob, Steve and Carol.

A visitation will begin at 12:00 pm with funeral services starting at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary located at 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT.
