

She was born in Carey, Idaho on May 10, 1925 to Eva Johnson and Jonathon Lawrence Bennett. She attended Stevens Henager College of Business and married Chester Edward Cantrell on September 10, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She enjoyed her golfing and bowling leagues and lunches with friends. Elaine was a Red Cross volunteer, an avid Utah Jazz fan and a very good cook as well as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Cantrell Koehler, her grandsons Courtney Cantrell Koehler, Tyler Scott Houston and her great granddaughter Avery Marie Koehler. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and husband, as well as her eldest daughter Terry Lee Cantrell, youngest daughter Susan Cantrell Houston, and grandson Jonathon Edward Houston.
Services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Chapel at 2 p.m. on Thurs., July 11th. Viewing will be Wed., July 10th from 7-9 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Chapel, 3401 S Highland Dr., SLC, UT. The family will also receive friends for an hour prior to the service with the interment to follow immediately after.
