

On May 6, 1953, Flora married Ross Jordan Holly of Rockton, Pennsylvania, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love and devotion.
Flora cherished time spent with family and friends and found great joy in traveling and exploring new places. She had a special passion for gardening and was happiest tending to her flowers, nurturing them with care and pride. Her love for life and sense of adventure were contagious, and her kindness and compassion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Flora devoted many years to serving her community as a dedicated volunteer. She worked with youth at Cornell Detention Center, supporting and encouraging them to build strong foundations for successful futures. She was also a volunteer at Parkview Elementary School in the Salt Lake City School District through the Grandparents Volunteer Program. There, she worked in a first-grade classroom, reading one-on-one with students in both English and Spanish and helping them grow and succeed in their education.
Flora is survived by her children: Ross (Cathy) Holly of West Valley City, Utah; Charlene (Lyle) Izatt of Smithfield, Utah; and Troy (Verena) Holly of Germany; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was one of eleven siblings and is survived by her siblings: Esther Vincent Dagieu Peiro, Carlos Dagieu Peiro, Ana Hernandez Dagieu Peiro, Griselda Escobar Dagieu Peiro, Idalia Albarran Dagieu Peiro, and Demetrio Dagieu Peiro, all of Mexico.
Flora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ross Jordan Holly; her parents, Flora Peiro Padilla and Leon Dagieu Camou; and her siblings: Leon Dagieu Peiro, Beatriz Moreno Dagieu Peiro, Margarita Aguilar Dagieu Peiro, and Olga Recordon Dagieu Peiro.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at Legacy Village of Taylorsville for their compassion and dedicated care over the past three years.
Flora will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Utah.
Funeral services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106. A viewing will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m.
