Fred passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on September 20, 2023, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Fred was born on October 5, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Don and Artell Allsop. He lived a very full life during his 74 years on earth. Fred married his sweetheart Connie Munk on April 18, 1974. To further pursue their careers, Fred and Connie moved to Monrovia, California in 1975. While living in California, they were blessed with three wonderful daughters. After many happy years in California, they moved back to Utah in 1992 to be closer to family.
Fred’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends no matter how that looked. It could be playing games at the table, riding horses, kayaking, or camping in the mountains or at the beach. He also enjoyed attending all his children and grandchildren’s various events and activities. He was always willing to join in any adventure with his family.
Fred had a true love for his Savior Jesus Christ and was one of his faithful disciples. He spent many years serving others in any way that was needed and had a special gift of making everyone feel comfortable, loved, and important.
He is survived by his wife, Connie, his three daughters, Carly (Dave) Clippinger, Megan (Dave) Stenquist and Jentry (Josh) Hardman, and 10 amazing grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Carol Lynn Metcalf.
Fred will be dearly missed and as a family we find comfort in knowing that through temple blessings, we are sealed together as a family forever.
