Deac Thomas, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 20th. Born to Ora N. and Jessie B. Thomas, in Lead South Dakota, he moved with his family to Montpelier, Idaho, where he met the love of his life, Dorothy Barkdull. They later married and settled in Salt Lake City, where they raised their children, David, Diane, and Dean. Deac retired from Quester Corp. in 1990. He remained active in many capacities. He wanted to help others, and generously did so. With his outgoing personality, positive attitude, and infectious laugh, he made people feel special. Deac was a member of the Wasatch Presbyterian Church, 1626 S. 1700 E., SLC. A service will be held there on Sat. March 29TH at 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of Deac’s Life.
