Greg Paxton, our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, friend and hero passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on September 13th, 2012. He will always be remembered as someone who loved life and not only enjoyed life as it came, but sought everything he could to live life to its fullest. He flew as a private pilot, enjoyed camping, fishing, building models and astronomy. However, his favorite pastime was spending as much time with family as he could.
He was someone who always had a story to tell, a joke to humor you and would put a smile on your face at any moment.
He is survived by the love of his life, Jean Paxton, sons Tony Paxton (Erin) and Brett Paxton (Francescia), his sister Lana Strausburg, step-father Bruce Black, step-brothers Phil Black (Margo), Rod Black and Lynn Black and step-sister Laurine Black, and 10 nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by Gordon H. Paxton, father, and Betty Rae Broderick Black, mother.
