Jack H Petersen

Jack Holger Petersen Beloved husband, Father, Grandfather & Great Grandfather passed away December 7, 2022, at his home in West Jordan Utah. Jack was born September 19, 1931, to Holger and Edna Petersen in Los Angeles California. The family later located to Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jack Attended West High School where he played basketball and was on the track & field team. While attending high school he enlisted in the United States Airforce and was deployed to Korea where he was wounded and received a purple heart. Upon returning he married his high school sweetheart the love of his life Norma Ann Mason.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother Don (Bonnie) Petersen.

Survived by his loving wife Norma and sons Kelly (Cathy) Randy (Sheri) and Dana (Betsy) Petersen. 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Jack worked for United Foundry as a pattern maker. Later he took a job as a lab technician at Salt Lake City Water Reclamation and was later promoted to Plant Manager. He then went to work for South Valley Water Reclamation as Facility manager and was instrumental in design and Startup of the new Facility.

Jack loved being with his family, including camping, fishing and hunting. Family barbecues and pool parties at his home.

The graveside service will be on Tuesday December 20, 2022, at 1:00 pm Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 South Highland Drive Millcreek Utah.
