Janice Gay (Ivory) Roper White, age 63, passed away on May 21, 2018, at home after a battle of cancer and cirrhosis of the liver.
She was born Christmas morning 1954 in Salt Lake City, to George Ivory and Jenille (Rowsell) Ivory. She married Lindsay Roper and had three children, Cameron, Travis, and Melissa; later divorced.
She married Greg White in June 1982 in Salt Lake City. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was full of love and kindness to all. She was a mother first and raised her three children and two step-children, Terry and Jess White. She was always surrounded by nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
She worked in catering and retail clothing. Her favorite job was at the Blue Boutique. She took pride in going the extra mile for dressing up for work, especially during the month of October. Halloween was her favorite time of the year and was always dressing up in costumes and outfits.
She loved to camp and fish. She also loved to plan and carry out pranks.
She is survived by her husband Greg, four children, parents, three siblings, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa, and grandson Nic.
Funeral services will be held on June 9, 2018, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior to service.
