Jeanne Ethel Plumhof, age 75, passed away on February 20, 2025, in West Jordan, Utah. She was born January 23, 1950, in Champaign, Illinois to William Julius Plumhof, Jr. and Ethel Lily Wharton Plumhof. She graduated from Jordan High School and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Jeanne loved her family. She liked to go to Disneyland and to play cards with her nieces and nephews. We loved spending time with her at Christmas and birthday parties. She absolutely loved her cat, Sylvester. She enjoyed listening to music like Elvis, Beach Boys, Andy Williams, and more. Her favorite shows were John Wayne and Shirley Temple movies, MASH, Chips, Emergency, Looney Tunes, Garfield, Bonanza, and Little House on the Prairie. She collected stuffed animals and music boxes, and her favorite foods included pumpkin pie, Tab soda, and M&M’s. She loved watching sports and was an avid fan of the Jazz and the University of Utah. She worked doing housekeeping at the University of Utah Hospital for over 40 years!
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ethel. She is survived by her siblings Roy Plumhof, Mary Otterstrom, and James Plumhof (Deanna) as well as many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10 AM located at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. A short graveside service will be held at 11 AM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Casual attire.
