JoAnne was born to Chauncey West and Josephine Brewer and had three beloved brothers, Jack, Bob and Tom. She married Walter (Bud) Hibbard, later divorced. She is survived by her children Mike Hibbard (Tamara), JoLynn Frodsham (Lee), Dawn Shelley (Wally), and Keri Sieverts (Tony), six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many friends grateful she chose them.
Her life focus was her family and she built precious memories through family vacations, dinner parties, and celebrating every holiday on the calendar. Strays were always welcome at the table and she was never happy until she fed you.
She loved playing cards; fish with the kids, solitaire and of course, bridge with the ladies.
BG (Best Gran) as she was known is remembered for purple dragons, tooth fairies, Easter egg hunts, magical Christmases and gifts for everyday that ending in a “Y”.
She was the greatest teacher of compassion, love and forgiveness. Always leading by example.
