Joanne Roberts

Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend Joanne D. Roberts, age 87 passed away peacefully on May 9, 2015 in Salt Lake City. After many years of facing Alzheimer's disease with great courage, yet always remaining kind and loving. She was born on January 25th, 1928 in El Paso, Texas, to Joseph and Anne Done.

Preceded in death by her son Rodney Everett Roberts and her husband Everett James Roberts, with whom she spent her lifetime loving. Joanne loved golfing and dancing cheek to cheek with her husband of forty-two magical years. She also cherished spending time with her many children and grandchildren.

Joanne is survived by her son Mike and daughters Vicki, Bobbie, Jody, Tana, Stacey and sixteen grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Joanne and her husband co-owned Roberts Three automobile dealership in Tooele, Utah for many years. It was with great humor and patience they raised their seven children valuing the principles of hard work, kindness and integrity.

Graveside services for family and friends will be held at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery 3401 South Highland Drive on Wednesday, May 13th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Utah.
